1. What kind of events can we host at Kellogg House Pomona
2. What types of rooms are available? How many people can these rooms accommodate?
Our facility has several options from which to choose. We have both indoor and outdoor accommodations. Please refer to the Inside the Mansion and the Outside Garden Terrace layouts and accommodation figures when making your decision
3. Can we use our own caterer or do we need to use your in-house caterer?
You may use Kellogg House Pomona in-house food service, choose from our preferred list or use your own caterer. Please be advised that all caterers will need to submit their catering/food service license and liability insurance policy at least six weeks prior to the event. If alcohol is to be offered during the event, a copy of the caterer’s Alcoholic Beverage Control license must be provided at least six weeks prior to the event.
4. Are there any restrictions in regard to music, smoking, photography, flowers/decorations, etc.?
5. Can we provide our own liquor?
Alcohol can only be offered through the use of a caterer. Please be advised that a copy of the caterer’s Alcoholic Beverage Control license must be provided at least six weeks prior to the event.
6. Where will my guest park their cars?
There are thirty-nine (39) parking spaces in the Kellogg House Pomona parking lot (Lot R – top of the hill, behind the House). Guest parking passes for Lot R are required and are available through the Office of the Director of Kellogg House Pomona (passes are valid only with the proper signature and date). There is one handicapped parking space immediately outside the gates of the House, and a handicapped drop off location inside the gates (drop-off location may also be used for handicapped parking). The entire area inside the gates at the Kellogg House Pomona is a designated fire lane. With the exception of one designated handicapped drop-off spot, no parking is allowed inside this area. All vehicles in violation will be towed at the owner’s expense. Shuttle Services and Valet Parking are also available through selected companies. Be sure to ask the Kellogg House Pomona staff and/or Director for information on these services.
7. Is there a deposit required to book an event?
A $500 security deposit must be paid in addition to regular facility fees. This deposit will only be used to cover costs associated with breakage, excessive cleaning, maintenance or damage, sign or decoration removal, resetting equipment and furniture, and failure to remove all personal belongings at the conclusion of the event. The security deposit is in addition to the facility fee and will be refunded provided: the condition of Kellogg House Pomona is as it was when you arrived, there is no breakage or damage to the furnishings of the House, directional signs and decorations are removed from the campus within 24 hours of the event, and all personal belongings, cake, and gifts are removed from the House at the conclusion of the event.
8. What is your event cancellation policy?
If your event is cancelled, the deposit and/or fees received by Kellogg House Pomona for the reservation and payment of your wedding and/or reception may be refundable. Refunds are dependent on the possibility of regaining lost business and the ability to place another customer on your date. Your deposit refund will be considered based on the following schedule:
9. When is final payment due?
The final payment for the event is due three weeks prior to the event date. This payment may be made at Kellogg House Pomona or mailed to Kellogg House Pomona:

10. Can we do a walk through of the facilities prior to booking?
Absolutely. Please call for an appointment.
11. Will outside vendors be allowed on the property for set-up/tear-down? How much time will they be allotted?
Yes. We will work with the vendors to allow ample time to set-up and tear-down.
