CategoryQuestionAnswer
OHow do you make apartment assignments?Current and returning residents choose their own spaces. Any bed spaces remaining are assigned to new applicants. The computer runs assignments based on your priority number and the information provided in the application questionnaire.
OHow is priority given?A. Current residents B. Returning residents C. New applicants
OMay I request a particular roommate?Whenever possible, we attempt to honor roommate requests. This can be accomplished if all students wishing to live together list each other (including Bronco I.D. #) on their questionnaires and if priority numbers are in close proximity. Please remember, we try to honor roommate requests whenever possible, but it is a request and not a guarantee.
OWhen may I see the rooms? You'll see your room on the day you move in. To see a typical room, we invite you to take a Village tour. Please contact our office for tour times.
OWhen will I meet my roommates? You will meet your roommates at the time of move-in.
OMay I bring electronic equipment?Yes. Computers, TVs, VCRs and stereos are all accepted. We discourage subwoofers as they are disruptive to other residents. Cable and internet service are included in your license fees.
OWhat is the bed size? All beds are extra long twin (36" x 80").
OHow many people share a bathroom? There are four residents in each apartment and two residents share each bathroom.
OIs storage space available? There is a small storage closet just outside the apartment, in Phase I and Phase II, which you will share with your three other roommates. In Phase III, you must store items in your room.
OPlease explain the telephone service that is included in the license. Each resident's room is equipped with a telephone line, but the residents are responsible for activating the phone service with the local telephone company.
